I have to say
Aziz Ansari is one of the funniest up and coming comedians/actors/rappers. Yes, I did say rapper. He is going under the name 'RAAAAAAAANDY,' check out more about him
here. He plays some good roles. If you have ever seen Community (the lesser known, wannabe office, thats still somewhat funny) he plays a young kid who doesn't take shit from anyone and is always getting into weird situations. He is also is a bunch of smaller random movies. I was watching
I Love You, Man the other day and saw him in a fencing scene. Seems like he's in good with Judd Apatow, he'll be big soon enough.
But this song is hilarious. He gets real 'AAAAAAAANGRY' He disses every rapper who is popular right now. Kid Cudi, Drake, Jay-Z, Ludacris, Doom, and more. I don't really feel that it's a song (or rap) more talking over a rap beat. It'll make you laugh if know anything about the rappers he calls out.
I am very surprised he was able to get
Dave Sitek to work with him. Dave is a member of TV On the Radio, and has produced with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV On the Radio, Foals, and Wale. But that means that they are both serious about this project which is cool. And from the sound of the song, looks like they want some BIG names on it.
So, we'll see where this goes, but until then, watch
