MGMT has announced their sophomore album, Congratulations. The album will be released on April 13th through Columbia Records. According to the details: "Congratulations is a collection of nine individual musical tours de force sequenced to flow with sonic and thematic coherence. Soulful and complex, Congratulations is a surprising and delightful quantum step forward in MGMT's ongoing pop revolution."

I do hope that Lady Dada pokes fun at and is a reference to the mainstream freak Lady Gaga, but that could be wishful thinking. The album art looks pretty crazy. I am digging it. Maybe Tom and Jerry infused with a little Ren and Stimpy? The album is sure to be a hit. I'll keep you updated on any singles they release as I find.
