[COVER] Jónsi | "Time to Pretend [MGMT]"

Earlier today on BBC Radio Jónsi played a number of songs including this cover of MGMT's "Time To Pretend." He turned this uppity, catchy pop song into a dark, piano heavy, lofty version which emphasizes the song's lyrics beautifully. This song's transition into an emotional ballad is beautifully done by the Sigur Rós frontman whose album Go is coming out 4/5.

Nyle: "Let the Beat Build"

Awesome video of an NYU music class. This is a much better version of Lil' Wayne's song of the same name.

The Knife
I regret to inform you that "Colouring Of Pigeons" (earlier YTE post about COP) is the only track with substance on Tomorrow, In a Year. It is tailored exactly to the opera, and many of the songs have barely any noise at all. I am very disappointed in the album and retract any hype I have built up about it.

Jónsi
Sigur Rós frontman Jónsi has announced that his solo album, Go, will be released on April 5th. (unless you're from Australia or Germany, you'll get it earlier. The 1st and 2nd of April respectively) This information coincided with the announcement that Sigur Rós is on an indefinite hiatus. It's rumored that they had an almost complete album ready last year but threw it out because they "didn't like" it.

03. Tornado
04. Boy Lilikoi
