Colouring of Pigeons - The Knife

The Sweedish electronic duo hasn't put anything out together since Silent Shout in 2006. Last year, half of the duo, Karin Dreijer Andersson, released a brilliant album under the name Fever Ray.  "Colouring of Pigeons" is 11 minutes of clashing drums, odd chanting, and drip-drops of electronic beats, a truly epic performance that engages your ears in a musical extravaganza from beginning to end. The Knife is debuting new material on SoundCloud in the coming days. Here is their SoundCloud page where they will be releasing the new tunes. Here's what SoundCloud says on an upcoming album from The Knife:
The Knife, in collaboration with Mt. Sims and Planningtorock, are to release the studio version of the opera ‘Tomorrow, In A Year’, on the 1st March 2010. Commissioned by Danish performance group Hotel Pro Forma to write the music for their opera based on Charles Darwin and his book ‘On the Origin of the Species’, The Knife decided to make this a collaborative process, working with artists Mt. Sims and Planningtorock for the first time, to capture the huge width of the Darwin and evolution theme.
