Lil' Wayne discussing the fire at the courthouse today where he was supposed to be sentenced. Unfortunately there was a fire at the very courthouse where he was going to be sentenced. Unfortunately this will delay his sentencing. Fortunately for his fans, he was able to perform with Young Jeezy & Jay-Z tonight in NYC. If you try to tell me that he is behind the root canal and the fire, I'd believe you. He needed the high-grade prescription drugs to cope with the withdrawal from the purple drank and keep him for lack of a better term, f*cked up. What in the world is he talking about at the beginning of the video, rambling on about some nonsense. As long as he can write some dope lyrics while in the slammer [IF HE IS EVER SENTENCED] then he can be on my good side.

[ANTICIPATING] Band of Horses

The GREATGREATGREAT news is just flowing in today. First the Black Keys announce a release and now Band of Horses. And you know what else is also great. May 18th, the same day as the Black Keys are releasing their album, Band of Horses is releasing their album TOO. What a great day to be alive. The album is going to be released through a yet-to-be-announced [ytba] [tba doesn't cut it in this case] and will feature two new members, Tyler Ramsey and Bill Reynolds, who tour with the band but are now official members.

The band is going to be tour extensively promoting this new album.

Their only shows [scheduled so far] in the area will be at the Walnut Creek Amphitheater in Raleigh, NC with Widespread Panic [huh?] on April 23 and 24.

Alan Wilkis who, if you don't remember [YOU SHOULD], created a brilliant version of Yeasayer's "Ambling Alp" and he is back at it again. Check out his website with the WHOLE lot of his remixes.

[ANTICIPATING] The Black Keys

|:| Elite Rockers Team Back Up After Successful Projects |:| 

I just have to say that this album art is kick-ass, a bold statement to extravagant covers that adorn crappy albums. Can't judge a CD by it's cover, usually.
The Black Keys, one of the best southern-blues-ish-rockin' bands is back in action after their 2008 release. The album is called, Brothers, [which they are not]. It is due out through Nonesuch Records on May 18th. There are 15 track on the album. 15? That's unheard of, a skimpy 10 is usually what we are given, but The Black Keys certainly aren't going to disappoint.  I don't know how the album has been under wraps for so long, especially with decorated releases [Dan Auerbach, Blackroc, and Drummer]by the members in 2009. This album is sure to amaze, leave your jaw on the ground, make your nipples hard, or whatever good music does to you, just like all their stuff consistently does.
